Sick, Sucks. Tonsils? Mono?

I went to the doctor’s office today. I won’t bother to spell out the boring details. It might be mono or a problem with my tonsils. I’ll be bed ridden, taking Biaxin until Wednesday, when I'll have some more tests done. Should know what’s up by then.

The predominant theory is that I may need my tonsils removed.

Thanks to Kevin who dropped by to check on me and to bring me some homemade soup :)

Matt,
Well I hope you do get better!
And while you are sick, please turn away all the tricks at the door so you do not pass anything along! This will benefit all of us, including yourself, in the long run, since we do all eventually sleep with pretty much the same (hopefully widening) circle of men... so your temporay abstinence will prevent you from getting this again in the future.
And if you need anything, please feel free to call Scot because he has alot of experience in the medical field and, if he cannt cure you he can at least bring you a Buddy Topper with a side salad!!
And, as Oral Roberts or Benny Hinn would say, "Be healed!!!"

Dennis,

you crack us up! Scot has given his medical advise...now it's time to see if Matt pays attention to it. Matt WILL rest and turn away the tricks at the door despite his ever growing hunger for the next ring of the doorbell. He knows that it is good for him and important for his body to rest, to repair and heal and rid himself of the agony of illness. If it's his tonsils, they come out and thus ends the nagging sore throats that have plagued him lately. If it's mono, he will be forced to stay under lock and key to avoid the risk of spreading it to anyone else and will not have the NRG to do anything but sleep....coming from one who has experienced this already. Yes, Matt, it sucks to be sick....now go,....rest, decompress, destress, and recooperate! Remember, DISTRESS=DISEASE

Living with HIV myself has had me on the odd occasion taking BIAXIN to stop an infection. It SUCKS. You will be tired, get that sulfur taste in your mouth and you WILL BE FORCED to rest. If you are on Biaxin, then this is serious. i suggst you take your friends advice and not push the envelope. Biaxin is not run of the mill antibiotics. It is a high grade, big gun pill. I know because I have a bad respitory system due to my hiv and biaxin is a bottle that remains filled at all times.
Be well, drink lots of fluids and REST.... that's an order.
