post a commentVery nice 12 of 12. I love all of the fall colour. Alas, it is spring on the end of the world. I sometimes miss seeing the fall colours in September like i grew up. thanks for sharing your day.
Love your photos, Matt! Can't recall when I started following your blog but glad you're back. Grew up & spent most of my life in Cincinnati but have been in South Africa for 12 years. I love seeing your candid shots from around town; I get all nostalgic. Have you ever considered submitting to Life Panoramic (http://www.lifepanoramic.com)? Thanks for sharing.
the leaves are great and I like the self portrait.
Um, you realize that putting your wallet in your front pocket is only a defense against being pickpocketed (not a prevalent crime near UC) and does pretty much nothing to prevent loss in a mugging. That said, your belief that the area around UC is less safe than the area around Xavier isn't true...per capita, they're about equal (at least that's what Cincy Police stats say).
Actually, I would say the neighborhood Xavier is in is worse. The difference is that you don't have to worry about Xavier STUDENTS mugging/pickpocketing you.
Your fall color and ours here in New Hampshire are about at the same stage of development, both being very good this year, obviously. Do you have a lot of sugar maples in Ohio -- is there maple sugaring in the spring?
I loved the autumn colour ones of the park! And the pizza looks good. Mmm, pizza...
Sorry for the late comment – I also posted my 12 of 12 late, doh!
