12 of 12: November 2010

Here’s what “12 of 12” is all about:

On the 12th day of each month you take 12 photos showing how you spent your day, post them on your blog, and then link the post back to Chad.

6:30 am: Having gone to sleep at 9:30 pm the previous night, I had EVERY intention of getting up at 5:00 am to go to the gym. Needless to say, I took the dog out, separated the pets then went back to bed for 1.5 hours. I think intention should count when losing weight.

7:50 am. Drive to work in the GTI.

8:05 am. I arrive at work and try to snap a picture. I hold up traffic on the ramp into the parking garage which surprises a coworker immensely.

4:50 pm. After work, I drive into downtown.

5:04 pm. One of my favorite buildings. The Times-Star building.

5:11 pm. Fountain Square!

5:13 pm. The queen of the square.

5:17 pm: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem describing Cincinnati and the Ohio River.

5:20 pm: Encouraging the trickle down effect/promoting the local economy: Pale ale at Rock Bottom on fountain square.

5:50: Further afield at On Broadway (note the curtain in the background.)

6:03: Drink whatever you want on the way to my house. I don't care.

7:23 pm: Huevos Rancheros à la Mateo. Watching "Outsourced" on my iPad. Great show! Quote: "Can't we just be happy the demon king is dead?"

I've also thought that Cincinnati was a pretty looking city. I love Huevos Rancheros and your version looks great too.

Looking at your photos is really making me miss the time I lived in Cincinnati! Thanks for sharing your photos of such a great city.

Beautiful photos of the city - and mmm, huevos rancheros...

Sorry I'm late commenting - I wanted to wait until I'd got my own 12 of 12 up.
