Spring Walk: Cincinnati Details

I went on a nice walk with Dann on a little "photo hunt"–to investigate and document some of the interesting details of downtown Cincinnati's architecture, etc. Enjoy!

12 of 12: March 2010

Here’s what 12 of 12 is all about:

On the 12th day of each month you take 12 photos showing how you spent your day, post them on your blog, and then link the post back to Chad.

8:05 am: Puppy waits patiently as I do my morning correspondence, and order my iPad. The iPad should arrive in about 45 days. Yay! (It occurs to me later that perhaps I should clean my desk.)

11:50 am: I'm home from the gym and from Subway. I obliterate a 12" sub. I am sooo hungry.

12:10 pm: Yay! My new shipment of photographs came just as I was taking puppy out to pee. I'm excited about the new prints to show at "Final Fridays" at Cincinnati's Pendleton Art Center at the end of the month. (Pics shown are taken in Tokyo, Montréal, Potsdam and New York.)

2:34 pm: I submit the GTI to Mr. Clean Car wash. It definitely needed to be washed after the fun weekend with the puppy in Tennessee. The interior was totally trashed after her last minute romp in the dirt before we left. Anywho.. Back to Mr. Clean Car wash...

2:47 pm: I arrive at Willie's Sports Café. This is a good way to spend an hour whilst waiting for the GTI. An hour later, I get a phone call. Thanks, honey. Car is ready.

3:32 pm: I'm back at the GTI. The interior looks great!

3:33 pm: It may not to occur to most people that I'm into origami. I have my own origami on the dashboard at all times:

4:30 pm: Dammit! I'm late for my massage! After a quick stint at IKEA to pick up photo frames and pots, I check out, and run the items back to the clean vehicle.

4:45 pm: On the road again! The weather gets a LOT worse until I meet up with rain and hail.

I eventually have a nice massage, by Shannon. He worked me into a puddle of flesh and I reluctantly head back home, into the rain.

6:51 pm: I arrive home. I want a nap and quite time, but I change into green and rush off to meet Glenn and Chris for dinner and Hamburger Mary's. (I have the meatloaf. Yummy.)

6:53 pm: Oops. Before I leave, I introduce Amélie to her new IKEA toy. She loves it! She is a sucker for IKEA toys.

10:21 pm: We are at a St. Patrick's Day Festival at a Church Hall in Price Hill. I'm wicked tired, but I drink "Green Beer" (Miller Lite) anyway.
